This is book 3 in this series. The series follows three brothers and their friends as they find the loves of their lives. There are several points of view scattered throughout the book. I feel that it is best to read these books in order. However, the author does a great job of recapping the stories already told. This book is about the baby brother, Travis. Travis and Tessa have been friends forever. He has always had a crush on her, but he left for the military before he could do anything about it. Travis didn't take his dad's death very well and was always getting into trouble. The military was the best choice for him. He comes home after serving 6 years. He craves adventure to outrun the demons that he has in his mind from witnessing such devastating happenings while in Iraq. Tessa is a physical therapist. She is the only girl sandwiched between her two brother and the Thompson boys. I had a harder time relating to Tessa than the other female characters. I felt like she was too hard on Travis and lead him on with her boyfriend. There were many moments where I just teared up because I felt so badly for Travis and all that he has gone through. His family is trying to get him to open up, but he is just not having any part of it. I did come to like Tessa as the book progressed. This book has no sex and no cursing. It is full of morals and values. No cliffhanger.Product details

WOW!!! It just keeps getting better! A wonderful love story that starts with a pair of ten year olds and never dies. Oh, there's some rough times, but they manage through them. This whole family is amazing and makes me wish I'd had them for myself. Definitely a must read book.
I recived this book in bookroster email but was to late to check it out but I read what it was about anyway and I had to read it so I bought it and it was well worth every penny. I loved the whole Tess and Travis thing.
This story has it all. family, friends, love, understanding and shows how familys should be. Im not a big country fan or a fan(or just the music but I guess I put it all in one category) at all but theres just something about a man in Wranglers that can make it all worth it. I love reading about bestfriends who grow up together and love each other. I think there my favorite kinds of books. In really loved this and highly recomend it to all hopeless romantics. I had no idesa this was the third book so you better beleive im buys the first three and hope there will be more books after this one.....
Book #3 of the series, oh it is fantastic!! The hero is such a complex character. Be right there when he discovers how to heal and trust again. A truly tender romance filled with lots of twists, a wonderful journey and adventure. Shanna is one very gifted author, she takes you right into the lives of her characters and you watch as they learn to trust and open up to the possibility of happy ever after. I highly recommend this book, sit back and enjoy!!
I love this book because you could feel the love the way Shanna writes. I love this family with laughter and the fun they have together. I love a great family story with the pain their loved one was experiencing. You could feel it. I just love the way she writes. I want the stories to go on forever. Thank you Shanna Hatfield.
I really enjoyed this third book in the series. I loved Travis and Tess--this book was a little more serious because of Travis's issues of PTSD from his time in Iraq. I really enjoyed the childhood and teenage memories Travis and Tess shared. I liked that all of the characters supported each other--no matter what. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite type of romance.
I loved this book as much as I loved the first two. I relate to Tess being a little sassy myself, plus having brothers who teased me. I hurt with Travis trying to get over what he experienced in the service. I also hurt with Tess having to watch Travis self destruct, knowing she loved him, but not being able to help him. Sometimes God has let's us fall so we see we can't do anything on our own without him. I loved seeing their relationship blossom, once God has his attention. If you love a clean western romance story, that makes you laugh and feel good inside, this book, and especially this series is for YOU! Can't wait to read the fourth book. Will differently reread this series again!
