The only reason I bought this book was the FB post about bar stools and church pews. R e ally liked his message and the book made me think.
WOW! I felt like I was right there in the action.....the book came to life. Very thought provoking. Disappointed that his other novel is not on . It didn't stop me from ordering it, but let down that I couldn't start reading it today.
A little slow in the beginning but a very good book. I could hardly put it down.
I found this story captivating from beginning to end.
As a people we have become so complacent, so tied up with our toys that we don't pay attention; even to each other. We miss so much, some good, some bad. I highly recommend this book and I hope to see more from this author.
Heart wrenching and inspiring. I finished this book in tears. It is one of the best books I have ever read. It left me with a great appreciation for family, God, and country. I look forward to reading "Twenty Tails Dreams From an Angel" and hear he is in the process of writing a new book, to be released in 2017. I look forward to it as well. Great read!
I have just finished this first novel by Clayton Jennings and enjoyed it immensely. His writing style is very simple, almost sophomoric, for me and the characters lack a bit in depth but all in all a solid story. I look forward to future works by a more seasoned, polished Clayton Jennings.
The story hooked me from the start! So well written in a realistic manner that makes sense as the story develops. It was almost like reading one man's account of a true historical battle. I pray our country doesn't have to experience something like this to learn to appreciate one another and see every person simply as a fellow American. We ALL need Jesus in our lives and faith in Him every single day!
